Carnival

The PTO’s largest fundraiser is the Carnival which will be held Friday, September 15th from 5:30 - 8:00pm. Carnival is an indoor/outdoor event (weather permitting) and encompasses 30+ game stations, food and beverages, bounce houses, snack station, cake walk, karaoke, basket raffles, and a silent auction – just to name a few of the features.

This is an event for the entire community, so feel free to invite your friends, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and acquaintances. All are welcome!

As you can imagine, to pull an event of this magnitude off without a ton of glitches, a large number of volunteers and coordinators are needed and PTO is always looking for volunteers. At Carnival there are multiple levels of volunteerism you can partake in – from volunteering for just an hour the night of the event for setup, tear down, running one of the games, or taking meal tickets to helping organize and plan within a specific committee for Carnival. We need all levels of volunteers and all volunteers are appreciated. Grandparents, aunts, uncles and older (high school age and above) siblings are also welcome to help volunteer.

Sponsorship options are also available for the Carnival to individuals, families or businesses! The carnival game or attraction sponsorship is a great way for your family, company or personal business to promote and advertise to the Aldrich school community. Sponsorships include having your company name, family or children’s names (or choose to be anonymous) listed on a sign next to a sponsored game of your choosing, inclusion on newsletters sent out weekly before the carnival, a shout out on the PTO website as well as tickets for food/games/attractions to be used the day of the Carnival. Kids love locating and playing the game with their name on it AND a portion of your contribution is tax deductible!

Tickets are needed for meals and to play games/attractions. Tickets can be purchased at the Carnival or you can purchase them prior to the Carnival at a discount here.

Meal options at Carnival this year include:

Each meal comes with a bag of chips, cookie and water. Condiments are provided and include ketchup, mustard, relish, mayo, and shredded lettuce.

    There will also be a silent auction for signed, matted classroom pictures, front row seats for music concerts and classroom baskets.
